Storyline :

Jatt & Juliet is a Punjabi romantic comedy directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Darshan Singh Grewal and Gunbir Singh Sidhu. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh opposite Neeru Bajwa. It hit theaters on 29 June 2012.

Jatt is a mischievous lovable sort of a guy whilst Juliet is the typical Punjabi modern day girl. Sparks fly when their paths cross on their way to Canada due to their different outlook on life. But as faith brings them together time and time again their hatred for each slowly turns into friendship only to realise it's true meaning when they get separated. Will life give them one more chance to prove their love for each other or will they continue to be at loggerheads?

Box Office

The Movie took a historic opening, it opened to 100% occupancies and shattered all previous Punjabi Film opening records by a distance. It collected Rs 80 lakhs on it's first day and Rs 2.27 Crores in it's opening weekend. [2] It set a record for the first week box office by collecting of Rs 4.70 Crore (Rs 4.30 cr East Punjab + Rs 40 lakhs Delhi/UP) and in it's second weekend it collected Rs 1.5 Crore plus. In just 10 days of release it has beat the box office collections of all Punjabi Films to become the highest grossing Punjabi Film with a collection of Rs 6.75 Crores and is on it's way to collect Rs 10 Crores at the Indian Box Office.
